| Barbara is a former high school teacher who moved with her young family to Boise in 1983. After being raised as an "army brat" growing up all over the United States and Europe, she wanted to provide her children with a sense of place, and home. Boise has been an excellent choice for her with its combination of small town friendliness, big city services, and easy access to beautiful geography and recreation. She and her husband have chosen a second vacation home in the incomparable Sun Valley area, and she is a member of the Sawtooth Board of Realtors as well as the Ada County Association of Realtors. She is highly educated, with a BA in History/Psych and a Master's degree in Counseling from Boston University. | Barbara has always been active in the community. Over the years she has volunteered for her children's school, the Boise Art Museum, the Junior League, Planned Parenthood, The Idaho Aids Foundation, and the Idaho Women's Charitable Foundation. Barbara is also a founding board member of the Idaho Film Foundation. Her community involvement has earned her a Lifetime membership in the Ada County Realtor's Honor Society. |
